Suzanne
Korner BA, LMT, CNMT
Suzanne Korner has been practicing massage
therapy since 1992. She received her massage
training in the Chicago, Illinois area after
graduating Cum Laude from Kenyon College with a
degree in Psychology. She is now licensed by the
Ohio State Medical Board, license #8543. She is
certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal
Massage, and Ashiatsu (deep barefoot massage) as
well as Yamuna Body Rolling ®. Suzanne specializes
in Swedish/Relaxation Massage, Neuromuscular
Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, and Trigger Point
Therapy. A member of the American Massage
Therapy Association, she is also certified by
the National Certification Board for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork. Suzanne offers
massage primarily at our Northeast Ohio
location.
Barb Hering LMT, CIMI, CNMT
Barb Hering is a 1999 graduate of the American
Institute of Alternative Medicine (formerly
known as Massage Away). She is licensed by the
Ohio State Medical Board and is
certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal and
Postpartum Massage, Infant Massage,
and Asiatsu (deep barefoot massage). Her
specialties include: Swedish/Relaxation Massage,
Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Therapy,
Cranio Sacral Therapy, Ashiatsu,
Prenatal and Postpartum massage. As an infant
massage instructor, Barb
teaches new parents how to massage their
infants, either in a private or group setting.
Amanda
Melvyn LMT
Amanda started her "career" in massage years
before attending MT School. She worked for
Massage Away in Columbus, Ohio for six years as
an administrator. After getting an insider's
view, she developed a great love for the
business, and decided she wanted to pursue
massage as a career.
Amanda was licensed by the State Medical Board
in January, 2006. She is certified in Ashiatsu
(Barefoot Massage), Pre/Postnatal Massage, and
Hot Stones for Therapeutic Healing and Deep
Tissue Therapy. She specializes in Ashiatsu,
Neuromuscular, deep tissue, Swedish, and
Pre/Postnatal Massage. She is committed to
bettering peoples’ lives through increased body
awareness and decreased pain from muscular
tension.
